RCMP investigate break and enters into churches, Antigonish County, N.S.

RCMP are investigating break and enters into local churches.

Antigonish RCMP are investigating a break and enter into the St. Paul’s Church in Havre Boucher. The incident is believed to have occurred sometime overnight Saturday night and Sunday morning.

The suspect(s) gained entry to the church through a side door and stole a quantity of cash.

Churches were targeted in Port Hastings and in South Haven (near Baddeck). A small quantity of cash was taken in South Haven. Nothing was taken in the Port Hastings incident.

If anyone has information about this crime, please contact your local RCMP detachment or Antigonish RCMP at (902) 863-6500. Calls to Crime Stoppers are not taped or traced and if police make an arrest and lay charges based on a tip, callers qualify for a cash reward from $50 – $2000.
