RCMP investigate fatal collision, Bear River, N.S.

Overnight, RCMP Digby members responded to a single vehicle fatal collision. At approximately 1:06 a.m., Digby RCMP responded to a fatal single motor vehicle collision on the Bear River First Nation in Digby County.

At approximately 1:06 a.m., Digby RCMP responded to a fatal single motor vehicle collision on the Bear River First Nation in Digby County.

The 38-year-old female driver was declared deceased at the scene and the 18-year-old male passenger was transported to Digby Hospital with minor injuries.

The Medical Examiner’s Office was notified and a Traffic Analyst from South Shore Traffic Services attended the scene. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
