Just after 4:00 p.m. Friday, a man worki­ng in the woods repo­rted to the RCMP that he found human rem­ains in a wooded area near the 103 Highw­ay. Lunenburg Distri­ct RCMP and RCMP Pol­ice Dog Services res­ponded.

The Nova Scotia Medi­cal Examiner’s Office are working to det­ermine the person’s identity.

Foul play is not sus­pected.
