RCMP investigate Hit and Run in Wentworth, Wentworth, N.S.

RCMP are seeking assistance from the public regarding a hit and run collision involving an F-350 truck in Wentworth on November 23rd 2014 at 3:12 p.m.. The collision happened in the parking lot of the Wentworth Needs Store.

While in the store parking lot, the white Ford F-350 type truck towing a black fifth wheel trailer hit a parked Ford F-150 truck and failed to remain at the scene of the collision. The driver in question departed the parking lot, southbound on Hwy 4. Photos below show the vehicle and black trailer in question.

Cumberland County RCMP are asking anyone who may have witnessed this collision or anyone who has information on the incident to call the detachment at 902-667 3859 or Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), texting TIP202 + your message to ‘CRIMES’ (274637) or by Secure Web Tips at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca. Calls to Crime Stoppers are not taped or traced and if police make an arrest and lay charges based on a tip, callers qualify for a cash reward from $50 – $2000.
