Halifax District RCMP is investigating a report of a suspicious male in Lakeside.
At approximately 6:30 p.m. yesterday, two young girls were approached by a man in a truck on North Green Rd. in Lakeside. The man slowed his truck and approached the girls, ages 11 and 12, then chased them on foot for a short distance. The girls hid near a house and the man left in his vehicle.
The man was driving a dark coloured pick-up truck with a regular cab and tinted windows. The truck didn’t have a licence plate on it at the time of the incident. He was alone in the truck and is described as a white male, with short brown hair, around 30 years old, wearing a black jacket and black sunglasses.
