Tantallon RCMP is investigating a robbery that occurred early this morning at the White’s Lake Royal Canadian Legion.
Shortly after midnight, RCMP received a 911 call about a Robbery at the Legion.
Preliminary investigation revealed that two men entered the Prospect Legion and approached an employee who had her back turned. The employee heard a male voice advising her not to turn around and she would not get hurt. The suspects emptied the till and fled on foot. The Police Dog Service attended the scene and searched the area with negative results. The victim was not hurt.
Suspects are described as two males, wearing black masks, dark hoodies and blue jeans. No further description is available.
The matter has been turned over to the RCMP/HRP Integrated General Investigative Section (GIS) for investigation. Investigators are asking anyone who might have seen any suspicious activity in the area to contact them.
