RCMP investigate vehicle-pedestrian hit and run

Halifax District RCMP is investigating a hit and run involving a pedestrian.

Just after 8:30 p.m. last evening, a 23-year-old man was walking along Zinck Ave. in Lower Sackville when he proceeded to cross the street at Dickey Dr. and was struck by a vehicle. The victim was not able to identify anything about the vehicle, only that it did not have itslights on. The vehicle did not stop and the victim managed to walk home where they called police. EHS attended and assessed the man who did not require further medical treatment.

The investigation continues.
