RCMP investigates fatal single vehicle crash
RCMP is investigating a fatal single vehicle crash that occurred this afternoon on College Rd., Bible Hill.
At 2:38 p.m., the RCMP, EHS and Bible Hill Volunteer Fire Department responded to a single vehicle crash near the intersection of College and Vimy Rd. The preliminary investigation indicates the vehicle veered off the roadway and struck a tree. The driver and only occupant of the vehicle, a 60-year-old woman, from Bible Hill, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing. An RCMP Collision Analyst is on scene and the roadway remains closed. It is expected to remain closed until late evening. Traffic is being diverted to Cumming Dr. and Blanchard Rd.
