Yarmouth Rural RCMP is investigating a fatal collision that occurred on Hwy. 103 in Glenwood.

On July 12, 2022, at approximately 3:25 p.m., Yarmouth Rural RCMP, fire and EHS responded to a two-vehicle collision on Hwy. 103 in Glenwood. RCMP officers learned that a car and semi-tractor had been travelling in opposite directions on Hwy. 103 when they collided.

The driver of the car, a 75-year-old woman, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver of the semi-tractor, a 46-year old man, was not injured.

A collision reconstructionist attended the scene and the investigation is ongoing.

Hwy. 103 was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
