RCMP Issue 22 Speeding Tickets in Four Hours

Mount Thom, Colchester County, Nova Scotia, July 31st, 2011…RCMP Northeast Nova Traffic Services, comprised of teams from Antigonish, Pictou and Hants counties teamed up Sunday afternoon to conduct targeted speed enforcement on Highway 104 in the Mount Thom area of Colchester County. 
In a four-hour period, Police issued 22 speeding tickets. Among the 22 charges were a group of 8 riders on racing style motorcycles who were clocked at 148 kilometers an hour. One bike was towed and the driver issued an additional ticket when checks revealed the driver had his driving privileges suspended.
