RCMP Lay Child Pornography & Firearm Charges – Kingston, NS

Following a three month investigation, the RCMP Provincial Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit, with assistance from the RCMP Technological Crime Unit and Kings District RCMP executed a search warrant at a home in Kingston yesterday, February 23, 2016.  As a result, computers and five firearms were seized during the course of investigation.

RCMP arrested 38-year-old Matthew Robert Lucas of Kingston without incident at the residence and he has been subsequently charged with Possession of Child Pornography and Unsafe Storage of a Firearm. He was released from police custody on conditions and is scheduled to appear in Kentville Provincial Court on May 24, 2016.
