RCMP lay several Impaired Driving charges over the weekend

On October 22nd, 6:35 AM,  a 31-year-old Oakfield man was stopped on Highway 102 after a report of a vehicle swerving all over the road.  He was charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor vehicle after providing two breath samples over the legal limit.  He will be appearing in Dartmouth Provincial Court on December 15th, 2010.
 
On October 23rd, 2:36 AM, a 19-year-old man from Musquodobit Harbour was involved in a single motor vehicle crash on Hwy 357, in Meaghers Grant, HRM.  Police received a 911 call regarding the incident.  Police have charged the man with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle after the man provided two breath samples over the legal limit.  He will be appearing in Dartmouth Provincial Court on December 15th, 2010.
 
On October 23rd, 9:23 PM, a 38-year-old man was showing signs of impairment at a police checkpoint.  Breath samples of almost three times the legal limit were obtained.  A Lawrencetown man has been charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and will be appearing in Dartmouth Provincial Court on December 8th, 2010.
 
On October 24th, 3:59 PM, a 33-year-old man was stopped near Sackville Drive in Lower Sackville.  He gave samples of more than three times the legal limit.  A Porters Lake man has been charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle.  He will be appearing in Dartmouth Provincial Court at a later date.
