RCMP make significant drug seizure

May 11, 2012, Halifax, Nova Scotia . . . Members of the RCMP Federal Drug Unit have seized a significant amount of cocaine and arrested a 22-year-old male.
 
Last night, around 6:00 p.m., members of the RCMP Federal Drug Unit arrested a 22-year-old male outside the train station in Halifax as a result of an ongoing investigation.  A search of the suspect’s luggage found over one kilogram of cocaine.
 
Steven Marlow Shea, 22-years-old, of Dartmouth, has been charged with Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking.  He will appear in Halifax Provincial Court today.
