RCMP officer struck by vehicle, Windsor, N.S.

An RCMP officer has been struck by a vehicle in Hants County. At 6:05 p.m., an RCMP officer was in contact with a black Dodge Dakota with a roll bar on the back and has large mud tires with black rims.

At 6:05 p.m., an RCMP officer was in contact with a black Dodge Dakota with a roll bar on the back and has large mud tires with black rims.

A traffic stop was conducted on Highway 232 also known as the Wentworth Road. Details are unclear, but the officer was struck by the truck as the male driver backed up and then fled the scene.

The driver is a white male with a brush cut. No other details are available at this time. RCMP are continuing to look for the black Dodge Dakota and are asking the public for their assistance.
