At approximately 2:34 p.m. RCMP Musquodoboit Harbour detachment responded to a single vehicle crash at 6095 Highway 7, near Mary Etta Dr. As a result of the crash, the male passenger is dead. The male driver has no injuries. There were no other occupants in the vehicle.
A RCMP collision analyst has been called to the scene to assist in investigating the crash.
It is believed that alcohol was a factor in this crash. The investigation is continuing.
Highway 7 will be closed in this area pending further notification.
