(Updated) RCMP requests public assistance in locating missing New Minas woman

Update: The 24-year-old female from New Minas reported missing on August 5, 2016 has been located safe and sound.

The RCMP thanks the public for their assistance.

Kings District RCMP is asking for the public’s help in locating missing 24-year-old Carissa Bianca Gould.

 

Gould last made contact with her family on Sunday, July 31, but has not been heard from since. She is described as being 5-foot-9, approximately 155 pounds and has blond hair, blue eyes and a fair complexion.

 

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Carissa Gould is asked to call Kings District RCMP at 902-679-5555or your nearest police department. Should you wish to remain anonymous, citizens can also call Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), text TIP202 + your message to ‘CRIMES’ (274637) or by secure online tips at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca.
