RCMP requests public assistance to identify person of interest

Colchester District RCMP is asking for help from the public to help solve a theft of tools from a store in Lower Truro. At approximately noon on October 11, a man entered the store and left without paying for the following items:

  • 12V Dewalt cordless drill
  • 20V Dewalt cordless drill
  • 20V Dewalt Impact drill
  • 20V Dewalt High Torque Impact drill

The value of the items stolen is approximately $1200.

Anyone who has information about this incident or can identify the suspect, is asked to call Colchester RCMP at 902-896-5000, or should you wish to remain anonymous, you can also contact Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or text TIP202 + your message to ‘CRIMES’ (274637) or submit tips by Secure Web Tips at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca. Calls to Crime Stoppers are not taped or traced and if police make an arrest and lay charges based on a tip, callers qualify for a cash award.
