RCMP responded to collision on Highway 103, Hubbards, N.S.

Chester RCMP responded to a motor vehicle collision on Highway 103 at Exit 6. At approximately 1:00 p.m., a Honda Civic travelling outbound lost control and collided into a Chevrolet Cruise travelling inbound.

At approximately 1:00 p.m., a Honda Civic travelling outbound lost control and collided into a Chevrolet Cruise travelling inbound.

A 63-year-old female passenger in the Chevrolet Cruise was transported to South Shore Regional Hospital with minor injuries.

Police had the highway shut down for a period of time but it is now re-opened.

The roads were extremely wet as it was raining heavily at the time; however, the cause of the crash is under investigation.
