RCMP search for a missing fisherman in Fisher Lake, Annapolis County, N.S.

At approximately 7:25 p.m. Annapolis County RCMP received a complaint of a missing 51-year-old fisherman in the Fisher Lake area of Annapolis County.

The initial call indicated at approximately 5:00 p.m.

two fisherman had been in a small boat that overturned in the lake. One male was able to swim to shore and then call the RCMP. The search is ongoing for the second male. Assisting the RCMP in the search is the Annapolis County Ground Search and Rescue, the Annapolis Valley Volunteer Fire Department and the Annapolis Valley Water Rescue unit.
