Annapolis County RCMP advise that the body of a missing 51-year-old man has been located in the Fisher Lake area of Annapolis County.

A call was received yesterday about two fisherman that had been in a small boat that overturned in the lake.

One male was able to swim to shore and call the RCMP. At approximately 7:35 a.m today, crews were able to confirm they found the body of the missing man.

Because it is a remote area, crews had difficulty accessing and removing the body from the scene. The RCMP wish to thank DND, Annapolis County Ground Search and Rescue, Annapolis Royal Fire Department as well as the general public for their assistance in the search. RCMP do not suspect foul play.
