RCMP seek info on found headstone, Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM), N.S.

RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in locating the proper resting place for a headstone that was found in Westphal.

On Thursday September 19th, at approximately 12:00 p.m., a headstone was located behind a recycling shop near Highway 7 and Maclaughlin Road.

Police have been unable to determine the location from where the headstone was removed.

The family name on the stone is ‘Cuthbert’ with the names Andrew T 1891-1961 and Catherine E 889-1966.

RCMP are requesting the assistance of the public in locating the location that this stone may have come from so police can return it to the proper place.
