RCMP seek public assistance in locating travel documentation

April 17, 2012, Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM)…RCMP in Lower Sackville are currently seeking public assistance in locating missing luggage and travel documentation.
 
At approximately 2:50 p.m. today, two duffle bags and two large hiking backpacks were left at the side of the Bedford Bi-Pass, near the Glendale Avenue exit close to the Fultz House Museum.
 
The bags belong to two German females who have been backpacking across Canada. Contained in these bags were their passports, identification, a laptop, cameras, a BlackBerry and a book the two were writing about their travels.
 
The bags are described as follows:
-One pink and purple duffle bag with two handles, approx. 3 feet long, 2 feet wide.
-One Adidas band duffle bag, blue and black in color with two handles, same dimensions.
-Two large hiking back packs, black in color, approx. 3 feet tall and 2 feet wide.
 
Police are asking to be notified if anyone knows the whereabouts of these bags and ask they be brought to the Lower Sackville RCMP Detachment, 711 Old Sackville Road, so they can be returned to the rightful owners.
