RCMP seeking public’s assistance locating missing man, Lower Clyde River, N.S.

Barrington RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing man.

Seventy-nine old Frederick Atwood was last seen on the morning of September 26th, 2014 in Lower Clyde River, Nova Scotia.

Atwood had plans to drop off apples at his deer stand and was travelling alone. Later this evening, Atwood’s ATV was located at the end of Lake Road in Lower Clyde River.

This evening his family reported him missing as they have not heard from him and are concerned for his well-being.

Atwood is 5’3′ tall, 170 lbs, has thick grey hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a navy or camouflage coat, black helmet or red ball cap.

There is no evidence to suggest that Atwood has met with foul play.
