RCMP seized a quantity of drugs, cigarettes and moose meat yesterday.

Members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), Halifax District Street Crime Enforcement, RCMP Customs and Excise, and the Department of Natural Resources executed a search warrant at a residence on Sackville Drive, Upper Sackville, N. S. yesterday at 4:30 P.M.
RCMP seized 159 marihuana plants, 1012 grams of marihuana, 41 cartons of illegal cigarettes, Canadian Currency, digital scales, packaging material and hundreds of pounds moose meat.
A 52-year-old male was arrested at the residence without incident and was held in police custody to appear in Nova Scotia Provincial Court in Dartmouth, N.S. today on charges of Possession for the Purpose of trafficking, Production of marihuana, Possession of Illegal Cigarettes under the Excise Act and Revenue Act. The Department of Natural Resources is continuing their investigation into the illegal possession of moose meat that was seized.
