Eskasoni RCMP have charged a 35-year-old Eskasoni female with drug offences following a vehicle stop.

On November 3, 2014, Eskasoni RCMP conducted a vehicle stop on Yarrow Lane, Eskasoni and seized a quantity of Oxycodone and cash from within the vehicle.

The driver, Andrea Ann Stevens was arrested under the controlled drugs and substances act and charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance.

Stevens has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Eskasoni Provincial Court on December 16, 2014 at 10:00 a.m.
