As a part of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police’s vision to improve road safety, members of the traffic section focus their efforts on a different theme each month.

Starting July 1, 2011 Halifax District Metro Traffic Services will be targeting their education and enforcement efforts towards speeding and aggressive driving, as well as intersection safety, lane changes, and road rage.

The RCMP would like to remind motorists to be attentive of the dangers of excessive speed and anyone who witnesses dangerous driving behaviors is encouraged to contact police.
