Reported Robbery, Central Division, Flinn Park (6956 Flinn St. Halifax)

At 11:00 pm a 24 year old male approached a marked police unit advising he was just robbed while walking through Flinn Park.  The victim reports being approached from behind by the suspect who demanded his money.  The victim was physically assaulted and relieved of his cigarettes.  During the incident a second suspect remained a short distance away not involving himself in the physical confrontation.  Both suspects walked from the scene towards Quinpool Road then towards Chebucto Road.

The main suspect is described as a black male in his early 20’s, 6’3” in height, slim build, wearing white shorts, a red shirt with a Canadian flag and dark sneakers.  The second suspect can only be described as a younger black male.

The victim was treated near the scene by EHS for minor injuries.  The investigation remains active.

Investigators are asking anyone who has information about this incident or who witnessed it to call 902-490-5020.
