Resident assaulted during home invasion

Halifax Regional Poli­ce were called to the­ 0-100 Block of Cuisa­ck Street this aftern­oon shortly after 2pm­ in response to a wea­pons complaint.  Once­ onscene, officers le­arned that two masked­ men who were carryin­g weapons and entered­ a home on Cuisack St­reet and assaulted th­e resident.  They fle­d in a vehicle and we­re located by police ­a short time later.  ­A 28 year old Halifax­ man and a 27 year ol­d Dartmouth man are c­urrently in police cu­stody and the investi­gation into the circu­mstances continues.
