Diana Whalen will take a brief leave from her cabinet duties as justice minister and attorney general, and deputy premier, after being hospitalized on Monday, Dec. 5.
Ms. Whalen is expected to make a full recovery.
“We wish Diana well and hope she makes a speedy recovery,” said Premier Stephen McNeil. “She is a valuable member of the team and we are looking forward to having her back as soon as possible.”
