Residential break and enters in Bedford

Halifax Regional Police are advising citizens about a number of residential break and enters in Halifax.

Over the last three weeks there have been ten residential break and enters along the Bedford Highway between Kearney Lake and Hammonds Plains Roads.

In many of the incidents a screen was cut and/or a window was forced open. Several of the incidents have occurred during the day while a few have happened during the evening hours.

Halifax Regional Police reminds citizens to ensure your doors and windows are secure and that you activate your alarm when you go out or even when you are sleeping. Residents are also encouraged to call police if they observe suspicious activity.
