Monday, Nov. 14, 2016 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is inviting residents to attend one of three Bikeway Connector Project open houses being held later this week. This planning project will result in recommendations to Regional Council on improving bicycling connections between the Macdonald Bridge, nearby neighbourhoods and beyond.
Municipal staff and project consultants will be on hand at the open house events to provide information on options that will make it safer and easier to connect with the Macdonald Bridge bikeway. The options being explored include new structures for both bridge approaches, as well as improved cycling routes on connecting streets.
