PetSmart has an open date in Dartmouth Crossing of April 26th and in other PetSmart news looks like the Dragon King Buffet is actually being renovated to become a PetSmart (I’m sure there is a joke here) .

To make room for PetSmart, Global Pet Foods will not have its lease renewed

Bluenose II Restaurant II, 2nd location to open in former Stone Hearth Bistro on Bayers Rd. Downtown spot remains, but building to be redeveloped so the days on the corner of Hollis and Duke are numbered.

The Canteen opens in Downtown Dartmouth on Monday, its a sandwich shop with everything made in house. The Canteen will be in the space above Two If By Sea.

The NSLC opened its freshly built store in Cole Harbour.

The 2nd location of Smiling Goat Espresso opened in Bishops Landing.

KoDoraku is moving out of the basement of Spring Garden Place to Brenton St under Credit Union Atlantic. The new space has direct street access and more room for people to enjoy what was one of the best hidden lunch spots.

Also in Spring Garden Place, Better Than Her is moving to a larger space in the mall and this will allow them to start carrying Plus and Petite.
