This winter has been mild compared to the snowmageddon last year but my skin still acted like it was in an igloo all the time. The saviour: Reversa Skin smoothing body lotion.
I was glad to receive this lotion for review, as it works as it claims – to relieve rough/ dry skin (especially hands, elbows, knees and feet) caused by winter heating or air conditioning.
The Time-Release Glyco-Comfort system is supposed to offer skin rejuvenating effects over an extended period of time. The formula also includes:
– 10% Glycolic Acid (the highest concentration allowed without a prescription from a dermatologist)
– Arginine: an amino acid and
– Allantoin: a skin protectant which helps reducing the stinging sensation sometimes experienced by people with sensitive skin using glycolic acid for the first time
– Vitamin E and panthenol (provitamin B5), glycerin and petrolatum: to increase the skin’s moisture level and help prevent dryness.
The pump: simple and effective. I apply the lotion after shower to my arms and legs mostly, the whole body when I have more time. It is a little runny so I rub it in one area at a time.
My skin really soaks up all that moisture the lotion offers and it says soft for hours. It is harder to find time to apply another layer before I leave for work but when I do, it lasts till the afternoon.
It is said to make self-tanning products go on more evenly but I cannot confirm this 🙂
