Roasted Red Peppers

These are so easy to make and add a great flavour to many dishes. I googled around for some directions and this is what I came up with.

Step 1:
Pre-heat oven on Broiler setting.

Step 2:
Wash peppers, cut in half and remove seeds. 

Step 3:
Transfer peppers to cookie sheet.

 
Step 4:
Place on the top oven rack and broil until blackened. Took about 7 minutes in my oven.  (Excuse the dirty oven, I hate cleaning it!)

Step 5:
Remove from oven; don`t they look good!


Step 6:
Place in container with lid. Let sit for 10-15 mins to cool.


Step 7:
Once cooled off, using a paring knife to remove skin. It should lift off easily.



Step 8:
Cut into thin strips.

 
Step 9:
Refrigerate until ready to consume.
