Robbery On Parker Street In Dartmouth

  Release: At 1:15 am east members responded to the area of Parker St. and Newcastle St to a report of a robbery involving a handgun.

At 1:15 am east members responded to the area of Parker St. and Newcastle St to a report of a robbery involving a handgun. 
A 22 year old male and a 18 year old female were approached by two male suspects who demanded cash.  One of the suspects produced what was believed at the time to be a handgun.  The victims stated that they did not have any cash and the suspects fled the area.  East patrol officers located the two suspects a few minutes later walking along Pleasant street. 
 
A 16 year old Dartmouth male was arrested and found to be in possession of a BB gun that has the appearance of a real handgun. He was held for court with the following charges: Robbery, possession of weapons dangerous to the public, carrying a concealed weapon, pointing a firearm and using a imitation firearm to commit an indictable offence.
