Robbery suspect later caught in separate altercation

At 12:35 a.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a robbery that had occurred at the Irving gas station, 5450 Inglis Street, Halifax.  A male entered the business producing a pointed stick and demanded money from the cashier.  The staff member disarmed the suspect.  The suspect did not get any cash or product and then fled on foot.  No one involved was injured.  

At 1:28 a.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a disturbance between two adult males at Inglis Street and Queen Street Halifax.  Upon arrival officers recognized one of the males as the suspect from the Robbery and arrested the suspect without incident.
