Robbery suspect leaves gas station empty-handed

Halifax Regional Police is investigating a robbery that occurred in Bedford last night.

At approximately 8:30 p.m. officers responded to a robbery that had just occurred at the Sobeys Fast Fuel at 89 Peakview Way. A man entered the store, with what is believed to be a firearm, and demanded cash. The suspect fled the area on foot empty-handed. The employees were not physically injured.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 20s to 30s, approximately 5’8” tall, with a thin build, wearing a black hooded sweater with white writing on it, black sweatpants and black sneakers.
