Thousands in cash, quantity of cocaine seized from home

Halifax Regional Police has charged three people with drug trafficking and weapons charges in relation to a search conducted in Halifax today.

Early this morning members of the Quick Response Unit, along with members from the Emergency Response Team and Patrol Division, conducted a search of a residence on Cragg Avenue. Three people were arrested, and a quantity of cocaine, approximately $10,000 cash and a replica firearm were seized. 

A 41-year-old man, and two women, ages 39 and 43, are scheduled to appear in Halifax provincial court at a later date to face charges of:

  • Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking
  • Failure to comply with conditions of a release order

The 41-year-old man was also charged with failing to comply with conditions of a probation order.
