Running Behind

Morning Bloggies.  I was so tired after getting home from our run last night that I decided to take the night off from blogging.  Going to do my best to catch up now though.

Thanks to all those who entered my Crofter’s Superfruit Spread Giveaway, the contest runs until Friday, so if you haven’t entered you still have plenty of time.

This morning I woke up and didn’t feel like cooking.  Raisin toast it was. With just a tiny smear of Becel.  I don’t buy this often because I love it and could probably eat the whole loaf in one or two sittings. 😉

Along with some so-so strawberries & 1/2c greek yogurt.  Gotta get a bit of protein in so that I stay satisfied until snack time.

So yeah, our group run was all about hill training.  Mel and I got to the park early and did a loop around before meeting up with the rest of the group. Hills are tough and they always get my heart rate up, but are worth it.  This was 3 days of running in a row (not to mention my very active weekend) so I was pretty lacking in the energy department.  Luckily today is a break from exercise.  (Good thing too, because I’ve got a freelance project that needs to be tackled.)

Back tracking to food.  Snackie yesterday morning was a Apple Berry Cinnamon Vitatop.  Have to say that I much prefer the chocolate ones.  These were a bit too cinnamony for my liking.  But it was filling and only 1 point, so I can’t complain.

Lunch was a slice of leftover Veggie Lasagna.  Even better the second day!

I did bring an apple for dessert but then that sort of went to hell when I was offered these.  Sorry, who can resist a Girl Guide cookie?  Not me! I love the vanilla.

After work I zipped home for a quick snack before heading into the city.  A handful of these delicious Parmesan Garlic Triscuits with a slice of old cheddar.

And that’s where the food pics end.  As I said, I got home and didn’t feel like blogging so I didn’t bother to take any pictures either. I was feeling rather carby though and made a pot of homemade mac n cheese for Supper and may have had a dish of froyo and some more GG cookies for dessert.  *blushes*  Luckily, I have so many APs that even these indulgences were covered. Between the running and the weekend activity, I have earned over 50 APs already. Crazy. I also was very cautious when I tracked my weekend APS and went for low intensity when in reality there was both low and high intensity activity involved.  Eitherway, I’m still safely within my points.

How are you all doing this week?  How’s the veggie challenge working for you?  Sadly, I don’t think the veggie challenge has really changed my grocery bill too much at all.  Instead of buying meat I’m buying more alternative proteins that cost just as much. Have you noticed a difference in your grocery bill?

Anyways, off to get ready for work.  Sorry for the lack of commenting, I have been reading though and will check in soon!

Happy Hump Day!
