Shelburne County RCMP investigates fatal single vehicle motor vehicle collision

Jordan Falls, Nova Scotia .l

At 6:40 p.m. this evening, Shelburne RCMP were called to the scene of a single vehicle collision on Highway 103 – Jordan Falls.

When police arrived on scene, they located a truck off the road on fire. Jordan Fire department attended and extinguished the vehicle fire. The driver, who was the lone occupant, died at the scene.

An RCMP Collision Analyst was called to examine the scene for evidence.

Highway 103 between Exit 25 and Jordan Branch Road is closed and traffic is being re-routed around the accident scene.

The Highway is expected to be closed for at least 5 hours.

DOT are assisting with the highway detour.

The investigation is ongoing.
