Halifax District RCMP is investigating after shots were fired at a home on Partridge River Rd. in East Preston.

On August 25, 2022, at approximately 8:15 a.m., Halifax District RCMP received a complaint of shots that had been fired at a house on Partridge River Rd. in East Preston. RCMP officers learned that a window had been shot out of the home. No one had been present at the home during the time of the shooting.

RCMP officers and RCMP Police Dog Services searched the area and evidence was seized from the scene. RCMP Forensic Identification Services also attended the scene to assist.

The investigation is ongoing.
