Shots fired in Eastern Passage

From RCMP:
December 16, 2010, Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM)… Members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police responded to a complaint of shots fired in Eastern Passage, N.S.

 
On December 14, 2010, 8:20 PM, RCMP responded to a call of shots fired in Thorncrest Court area of Eastern Passage, N.S.   The owner of the residence heard a noise outside by his truck.  When he opened his door, a youth was standing on his step and pointed the gun at the owner's dog.  A shot was fired.  Believing it was a cap gun, the owner chased the youth who fired off three more shots.   No one was injured.  The suspect got into a vehicle with three others.
 
On December 16, 2010, 2:03 PM, RCMP responded to the same address on Thorncrest Court.  The witness from the above incident reported that he had found bullet holes in his house and a neighbour's car.  
 
RCMP continue to investigate this matter with the assistance of the RCMP/HRP Integrated General Investigation Section.
 
Police are asking anyone with information about these or other similar incidents to come forward.  A description of the vehicle or driver could help in laying charges which would ultimately assist in public safety.  Anyone with information regarding these incidents can contact any RCMP office, Halifax Regional Police, or Crime Stoppers anonymously anytime at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477) or by their Secure Web Tips at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca.  Calls to Crime Stoppers are not taped or traced and if police make an arrest and lay charges based on a tip, callers qualify for a cash award from $50 – $2000
