Shots fired in Eastern Passage

On December 14, 2010, 8:20 PM, RCMP responded to a call of shots fired in Thorncrest Court area of Eastern Passage, N.S.   The owner of the residence heard a noise outside by his truck.  When he opened his door, a youth was standing on his step and pointed the gun at the owner's dog.  A shot was fired.  Believing it was a cap gun, the owner chased the youth who fired off three more shots.   No one was injured.  The suspect got into a vehicle with three others.
 
On December 16, 2010, 2:03 PM, RCMP responded to the same address on Thorncrest Court.  The witness from the above incident reported that he had found bullet holes in his house and a neighbour's car.  
 
RCMP continue to investigate this matter with the assistance of the RCMP/HRP Integrated General Investigation Section.
