What do sunflowers, invigorating scents, and massage have in common?
The signature body bliss treatment from the summit. That is if you’re feeling especially exhausted as I was the morning I received this truly trans formative treatment. See the treatment is completely customizable, and tailored to your body and mind’s needs.
I don’t want to spoil too much about the treatment because I think part of the fun is in the mystery, as it’s really unlike any other massage or treatment I’ve ever received. But here’s what’s listed on the Summit Website:
“This relaxing body treatment is the combination of colour therapy and aromatherapy in a relaxing massage experience. Colour has been known and used since the beginning of time to nourish and balance the body, mind and spirit. We work with each clients own desire or pull towards certain colours and energies to create a meditative and relaxing environment. With the basis of bringing balance to the body we then work with a customized blend of essential plant oils in a soothing and relaxing massage experience.” allow 1 hour, 15 minutes $110.00
I have to say sometimes you don’t know what you need until you have it. Phewf I’ve been bananas these past few months, and busy in the best way possible of course, but when your job is to be ON all the time it can wear a person thin (not necessarily in size obviously lol).
Having been given prompts I chose yellow and discovered that I was probably lacking energy, and or feeling a little down. While I’m usually an pretty uppity person I definitely do have my down periods, and like everyone it can kind of be a struggle to get myself going. Throughout the treatment this information was used to curate the scents used for my massage. From a guided meditation that put in the middle of a sunflower field to invigorating scents specifically design to uplift me I really did feel blissful by the time I left The Summit. Before leaving, however, I was given a small vile of the scents tailored for me and my current mood, a small card with sunflowers, and a yellow string tied around my wrist to help remind me to “continue the bliss. Such a neat idea no?
I love the idea of having little reminders I think I’m always on my best behavior during meditation, dance or yoga mentally, but when I get back out into the real world that when panic and anxiety can strike. I loved this little take away, and I’ve kept both the vile, and the card at my desk since, and try to take small breaks throughout the day to be more mindful even if it’s just for a minute or two.
If you’re feeling a little overwhelmed (I mean who isn’t) or you know someone else who is might I suggest this blissful treatment? The combination of color, meditation, aromatherapy, and massage really make this treatment stand out among the rest! Highly recommend.
