Snowy Wake-up Call for Nova Scotia Drivers

With Nova Scotia’s first significant snowfall of the season expected Friday, Nov. 14, drivers should be ready to slow down and be on alert for slippery conditions.

Rain and snow are expected across the province, with dropping temperatures. Drivers should expect changing road conditions and travel with extra caution.

“The first storm of the season usually results in problems on our roads,” said Geoff MacLellan, Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal. “I encourage Nova Scotians to drive for the conditions, slow down and leave plenty of braking room. I’d also encourage motorists to winterize their vehicles as soon as they can.”
