“Sorry! Wrong Chimney!” promises to be entertaining

Bedford PlayersBedford Players presents Sorry! Wrong Chimney! by Jack Sharkey & Leo W. Sears, and directed by Jill Curley.

Sorry! Wrong Chimney! is a wacky, lighthearted Christmas farce full of mistaken identities and zany foul ups, with a smattering of slapstick comedy.

David Tuttle is moonlighting as a department store Santa so that he can buy his wife, Samantha Tuttle, an expensive gift for Christmas.

He tells her he’s working late at the office, but she finds out he isn’t at the office.

Problems ensue with the secret because of Sam’s phone call to the office and the constant barging in of their neighbors, William Weldon and his snooty wife Natalie.

William is a psychiatrist who loves to hypnotize people. Add a slightly off balanced Santa burglar (Kris Kreigle), his tough gun moll Sheila and a hypnotized dancing, stripping and confused policeman into the mix to add to the merriment of this rollicking tale.

Each character is different from the other and the physical comedy adds to their diversity.

Sorry! Wrong Chimney! runs from November 5th to November 21st at 8 p.m. (Thursdays to Saturdays).

The Bedford Players Theatre is located at 1408 Bedford Highway, in the All Saints Anglican Church.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for students.
