Extra Lean Grilled Turkey Burgers

These are one my favourite things to make, either on the BBQ or on my indoor grill.

What you’ll need.

  1. One pound of extra lean ground turkey
  2. 2 large eggs
  3. Calorie wise BBQ sauce
  4. Frank’s Hot Sauce (optional)
  5. Green pepper, red pepper, red onion & garlic
  6. Multigrain hamburger buns
  7. Avocado
  8. Garnishes (i.e.: tomato, pickle, mustard, etc…)


  1. Pre-heat your grill
  2. Chop peppers, onion and garlic (amount to taste)
  3. Add ground turkey, eggs, BBQ sauce (to taste), hot sauce (to taste) and veggies in a large mixing bowl. Mix extremely well.
  4. Once mixed let sit for 15 mins in the fridge.
  5. After letting the mixture sit, ball up the mixture into 3-6 even sized balls and then flatten them into patties.
  6. Place patties on the grill and cook until no longer pink in colour.
  7. Place cooked burger into the multigrain bun, add avocado and top with garnish.

Ideally served along with your favourite salad.
