Police are investigating a stabbing in Cole Harbour.

On Monday, May 25th at approximately 5:30 p.m. members of the Cole Harbour RCMP Detachment were called to a disturbance where it was reported an altercation had occurred outside a residence that resulted with an adult male being stabbed.

One adult male was taken to hospital with non life-threatening stab wounds. A second adult male is in custody facing weapons-related charges. The victim and the accused are known to each other.

The accused remains in custody and will appear in court Tuesday May 26th, 2015.

The investigation is ongoing.
