Stabbing in Halifax believed to be related to earlier assault, suspects not found

On February 9th at 1:23 am Halifax Regional Police received a call of three males beating up another male in a parking lot in the 10-20 block of Plateau Cres, Halifax.​

At 1:32 am a call was received of a male in the 10-20 block of Braeside Crt, Halifax that had been stabbed.​ When officers arrived they discovered a 20 year old man that had been stabbed.​ ​ ​

It is believed that both incidents are related.​

The man was taken to the QEII and is being treated for an injury that is not life threatening.​

Patrol and K-9 members searched the area and were not able to locate the suspects.​ The only description available is that the suspect were white males.​

The incident is still under investigation and anyone with information is asked to call police at 902-490-5020 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS(8477).
