At approximately 1:20am this morning, members of the Halifax Regional Police responded to an address in the 100 block of Cresthaven Dr in relation to a reported stabbing.  An altercation took place at this location that resulted in a 17 year old male being stabbed.  He was transported to hospital by EHS paramedics with non-life threatening injuries.  Police believe that the suspect and victim are known to one another and this was not a random act.  The investigation will continue by members of the Integrated General Investigation Section.
