Surplus Auction Scheduled for Oct. 26

The province's end-of-summer surplus equipment auction has something for almost everyone, from those on the move to people happier at home.There are pickups, tractors, dump trucks, and salt trucks on the heavy-duty end and ATVs, snowmobiles, and ride-on lawn mowers for the more genteel.

The province’s end-of-summer surplus equipment auction has something for almost everyone, from those on the move to people happier at home.

There are pickups, tractors, dump trucks, and salt trucks on the heavy-duty end and ATVs, snowmobiles, and ride-on lawn mowers for the more genteel.

For those happier at home, there is audio visual equipment, drill presses, woodworking equipment, office equipment and much more.

This auction is at 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 26, at the Auction Advantage Warehouse at 11 Mount Hope Ave., Dartmouth. The items can be viewed on Friday, Oct. 25, from noon until 4 p.m. and on auction day between 8:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. Photos are available online at www.gov.ns.ca/tran/hottopics/auction.asp.

The auction will be conducted by Auction Advantage. Cash, debit, or credit cards will be accepted.

All profits will go toward improving the province’s bottom line.
